Jeremy Allen White came to Kimmy Kimmel Live to promote Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere wearing easily the most interesting and stylish outfit we’ve ever seen on him. We have to assume he stepped up his game because he’d be sitting next to his Boss.

We admit, however, that the idea of promoting a biopic alongside the subject of it seems a little questionable to us. Not that there haven’t been extremely good biopics that were made with the artist’s cooperation, but just the sight of Bruce grinning up there has us questioning whether this will be a truly interesting story or whether it’ll just be a hagiography of an icon. But we suppose that’ll be a question for when the film is released. For now, we’ll just say that we’ve never loved so much brown denim before. We’d normally wave any guy away from the idea of wearing head-to-toe brown denim, but it looks really great on him and it’s also extremely in line with the project. It’s not quite theme-dressing, although it does look like something Bruce would wear. As for The Artist Himself, he looks great. There are almost no men who are closing in on eighty years of age who can make a tight pair of jeans really work for him, but he’s in great shape and he’s done a very good job of keeping his style consistent over the years while also keeping it age appropriate.
