Please note that every word of the previous sentence up to and including “extraordinaire” was a bold-faced lie. The part about her being back on her bullshit? Never more true.

This is a Southern Californian’s version of a New York outfit: a black coat and sandals. Jen doesn’t wear colors and she’s a hundred percent a SoCal kind of gal who loves beachy neutrals, so when she’s away from the beach and in the land of taxis, she just switches out her pale non-color preferences for strictly black outfits. And because she also prefers minimalism, all of the outfits are boring and one-note.
