Queen Máxima has been a very busy lady this week, dashing about here and there in mismatched and awkwardly coordinated outfits. It takes a lot out of a queen! Today, she was at the official launch of a national study by More Music in the Classroom on cultural education in primary education in the Netherlands. We won’t claim to have a deep understanding of how one dresses for the “official launch of a study,” but surely there were better options than this:
The pants are great. That top (which, as always, doesn’t match the pants) is so horrifyingly bad that we can’t help but laugh. Ma’am, how on earth did you manage to discover the Cargo Blouse, a thing that absolutely no one asked for? Also, please pull your hair back for day events. A simple low pony should be your go-to.
