Jay Kelly star George Clooney was feeling a bit under the weather and skipped the Venice Film Festival photo call, but the rest of the cast was on hand to serve looks and pick up the slack.
Adam Sandler
Boy, he must really want an Oscar this year. It’s too much to ask him to show up in a nice suit, so we’ll just take the win that he’s wearing a suit at all.
Alba Rohrwacher in Dior
We would absolutely love this whole look if the top wasn’t yellow and satin. Also, that trailing sash thing can go. Love the pants, though.
Billy Crudup
It’s fascinating how he’s a a very good-looking man wearing very expensive clothing and yet the results give the exact opposite impression. This isn’t hiding the hot, it’s sandblasting it out of existence. Nice shoes, though. Get a haircut.
Emily Mortimer
It’s not our favorite style, but as black lace dresses go, this one is inoffensive, we guess.
Eve Hewson in Erdem
Love this. It’s cute, photogenic, and loaded with personality. The shades make the look. The bust design is more complicated than it should be.
Greta Gerwig in Prada
The skirt is cute, but everything else looks like an afterthought. Black accessories are such an odd choice for it.
Laura Dern in Saint Laurent
There she is. We have no idea why this fact seems difficult for her style team to grasp, but you absolutely can never go wrong putting Laura Dern in a little hippy-dippy boho chic. If we were her stylists, this would be the go-to look at all times. Having said that, the print mismatch is a bit much.
Riley Keough in Chanel
The jacket’s a little cute – or perhaps cutesy would be a better descriptive, given those heart-shaped pockets, but you can’t really see much of it and she looks like she forgot her pants.
