Let’s do our duty as bitter old people and yell at the youths. The young stars of Hollywood came out for the Variety “Power of Young Hollywood” party and while we’d like to say the looks were disastrous or hilarious, the fact is, most of these kids dressed pretty boring for the occasion. Not very powerful, if you ask us.

Blandness personified. And everything’s too big.

It’s not our style, but it’s A style and we can’t get mad at it. The shirt’s cute.

Meh. It’s not ugly, but that’s a terribly unphotogenic print.
Bella Poarch
We love it. Not because it’s stylish or pretty (it’s neither), but because she looks a little crazy in it, which is very powerfully youthful of her. Seriously, the design is hilariously awful from head to toe.
Chandler Kinney
Instantly forgettable.
Finn Wolfhard
It’s a super-cute look, but the dress pants and dress shoes come off a little serious. Love the sweater, though.
Gavin Leatherwood
It’s so funny to us how so many of the youths of 2025 are styled like the Middle-Aged of 1981.
Isa Briones
Apparently one bag goes in the overhead department and the other goes under the seat in front of her. The dress is meh. We love a well-deployed bicep cuff, but this one barely even looks like a piece of jewelry.
Julia Butters
Another pre-ingenue who dresses like She’s Still Got It. It’s not terrible, but Jane Fonda could wear this and make it work.
Marissa Bode
The textile looks a little heavy to us, but the color really pops and we’ll always love a houndstooth.
Nicholas Alexander Chavez
This wasn’t much of a crowd for wearing suits, which is fine, but we really appreciate this one. It’s interesting and it looks great on him. We’re not convinced that gray was the best choice for the shirt color.
PinkPantheress
It’s fine. Generic design but the color is nice.
Regan Aliyah
That’s a lot of leather for August, but the color’s great and the style is fun.
Sam Nivola
It’s giving job interview. The jacket is too big on him and the whole look feels too conservative for the moment.
Shabana Azeez
It’s just a standard skirt suit worn without a top. Boring. And the shoes are weirdly ugly.
Sombr
This all feels very affected and also very well suited to him. The studied sloppiness is eyeroll inducing, but it’s a pretty great look.
Supriya Ganesh
This is sharp and sexy but the gap at the hips turns it tacky.
