And now, a little recurring feature we like to call “When Southern Californians Dress For New York in July.” Together co-stars and spouses Dave Franco and Allison Brie came to the Watch What Happens Live studios and we held our collective breath to see which one of them would collapse before they made it to the front door.

Admittedly, Dave wasn’t in too much danger here, but we question why anyone would wear a sweater vest in 100 degree temperatures. There’s also the side question of why anyone would wear a sweater vest under any circumstances, but that might have to do more with our longstanding hatred of them. Guys, they flatter virtually no one. This isn’t bad on him, however. Everything is crisply fitted and well-suited to him. The whole look has a bit of a mid-century vibe, which is where his sweet spot lies. He’s the quintessential skinny tie guy.

Right after this last shot was taken, she was scraped off the sidewalk and taken to the nearest emergency room. We can’t even begin to imagine the swamp ass action happening here. Still, she looks cool and collected, if wildly overdressed and a little tacky.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
