Golden Globes 2026: THE LAST OF US Star Bella Ramsey in Prada

We just had to take a break from all of the gownery coverage to spend a minute on one of the most interesting and unique looks on the Golden Globes red carpet. The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey has always been really great about expressing their nonbinary identity through their clothing choices, settling mostly on an amalgam of masculine and feminine style tropes that tends to be thoughtful and spur discussion. We’re just not sure this latest iteration works:

To us, there’s nothing all that thought-provoking about wrapping a men’s-style suit in a big pink bow. As a comment on gender norms and expectations, it completely lacks any subtlety and doesn’t really have much to say. Which is fine. Not every outfit needs to be a statement, but we think it’s more than a little clear that this is not entirely meaningless to them. Given their admission that they wore a chest binder while shooting the last season, it seems like a high-fashion wink at that, but even as a form of expression or a statement about one’s own experiences, wearing fashion that leaves your arms bound is never appealing.
