We’ll be honest: we’ve never really understood Leslie Bibb’s whole deal when it comes to her style choices. While we think it’s best for everyone to play to their strengths in their style, no one should be pinned down into wearing a style they don’t like just because it looks good on them. Christina Hendricks singlehandedly made pencil skirts trendy again because the mid-century styles she sported on Mad Men looked insanely good on her, but she tends to hate dressing that way and prefers a more whimsical/romantic style for herself. We don’t think it suits her, but it’s what she wants. Similarly, we tend to think Leslie would be better off leaning into her tall, model-esque proportions and go for slinky or tailored looks. Instead, she tends to dress like this:
It’s cute, we guess. We hate the idea of black Mary Jane slingbacks with it, though. That’s about as casual a day dress as you could possibly find and those lady lawyer shoes look strange with it. Putting that aside, we just think this whole preciously twee vibe is so wrong for her looks. If the lady likes what she likes, so be it, but the much different version of this dress in the look book shots below would have suited her so much better.
