Sheer skirts have been a beloved celebrity trend for years now, but this year, it became all about wearing these flimsy-ass things under heavy jackets, and the effect is so weirdly unbalanced. It looks so annoying to wear, having a nicely fitted, structure jacket on top and then little more than a breeze between your legs on the bottom. We hate that it’s tiered and we don’t think there’s anything that could save it, but a pair of black sheer tights might be an improvement. Granted, they probably wouldn’t have worked with the Birkenstocks, which are probably our favorite part of the look.
