Hailey Bieber declares jelly-gloss nails as the mani of the summer
When it comes to nail trends, Hailey Bieber never disappoints. Working with nail artist Zola Ganzorigt, Bieber has popularised trends like glazed-donut nails, butterscotch-toffee nails, and cinnamon-glazed nails, just to name a few. Now, the model has declared the mani of the summer with shiny jelly-gloss nails that are perfect for warmer temperatures.
At the Daily Front Row Fashion Los Angeles Awards on April 24, Bieber won Beauty Innovator of the Year for her popular skin care brand Rhode. And once again, her nails stood out, along with her gorgeous navy velvet Schiaparelli gown. Putting her own spin on the jelly nail trend, Bieber gave the look a summery upgrade all minimalists will love.
With a New Label Deal, Kacey Musgraves Faces the Future While Making Peace With Her Past
The singer-songwriter was a relative unknown when she signed her first label deal. Now, 15 years later, she returns to relaunched Lost Highway Records a country superstar who fought to make music on her terms, expanding the genre in the process. With a divorce in the rearview and blue skies ahead, she talks to THR about why she wanted to go home again.
Last year, a cover story with The Cut suggested she’d quit weed, though today, she laughs at the idea that she’s totally sober. “Um, I never said I don’t ever partake,” she says. “I just don’t wake up and hit a gravity bong the size of my face anymore, which is what I did for a long time. But, hey, more power to whatever suits you.”
Beyond those idyllic moments out in nature, now over a year removed from Deeper Well, Musgraves is entering a new era in her career that has one of country’s most innovative superstars going back to her beginnings.
Ombre nails are a classic for a reason – here are our favourite designs
Ombre all day.
Ombre nails may not be new, but they’re majorly trending once again thanks, in part, to the popularity of the almond and ballerina-shaped ombre Frenchies that celebs like JLo and Nicola Peltz Beckham have been wearing, and the chrome ombre (or chrombre) nails that have risen as a spin off to the now-iconic glazed donut.
It was only a matter of time before the boom in ‘90s beauty references made its way into nail designs and with airbrush nails and French tips firmly back on the agenda, it makes sense that we’ve seen a merge of the two, in the form of ombre French tips. As for the bolder, brighter and more experimental among us, we’ve also seen ombre design nails in pretty pastels, rainbow shades and jewel tones, proving there’s a way to wear it for everyone.
Airyn De Niro Is Ready to Be Seen on Her Own Terms
After surviving the tabloids, the actress opens up about transitioning, visibility, and life as the daughter of Hollywood legends.
Airyn, born to Robert De Niro and actress Toukie Smith in 1995, grew up largely out of the spotlight, so she was surprised by the sudden media attention. “Obviously no parent is perfect, but I am grateful that both my parents agreed to keep me out of the limelight. They wanted it very private,” she says. “They have told me they wanted me to have as much of a normal childhood as possible.”
[..]
“There’s a difference between being visible and being seen,” Airyn says. “I’ve been visible. I don’t think I’ve been seen yet.”
Growing up in New York City during the early aughts, Airyn was ridiculed and excluded by her peers for being feminine, bigger-bodied, and different in ways she could not yet describe. Being biracial further complicated her search for belonging. Denied the sweet relief of anonymity or acceptance, she felt hypervisible during her coming of age despite her parents’ acceptance of her queerness.
The UK Has Found Another Reason to Be Mad at Meghan Markle
A London-based gift service helped the duchess spread her As Ever jam in her husband’s home country, but it didn’t head off a recent tabloid controversy.
On Monday, Meghan sat for her first extended podcast interview with her friend and neighbor, Jamie Kern Lima. During the conversation, Lima mentioned that Meghan has a habit of sending thoughtful gifts, citing one delivery in particular.
“One time I had in-laws and all these people visiting, a very full house, and all of a sudden I got word that you had dropped something off,” Lima said. “You dropped off this gift basket with ice cream and homemade strawberry sauce to put on top of the ice cream, just to see if that helps lighten my load. It was as if you’re in my shoes, feeling what I was feeling without me even needing to tell you anything.” The video upload of the podcast featured a photograph of the gift, which included ice cream from Straus Family Creamery along with a card with Meghan’s personal emblem. The note read, “With the Compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex.”
Why Zendaya Will Be Doing The Met Gala Differently This Year
The actor’s creative director and longtime stylist, Law Roach, revealed her 2025 plans.
Zendaya will be at the 2025 Met Gala, but she’s doing something different on the red carpet. The actress’s creative director and longtime stylist, Law Roach, confirmed her attendance during an interview with E! at the Fashion Trust Awards on April 8.
‘We are going to be on the Met Gala steps, yes, [but] separately this year,’ he said. ‘That’s going to be really amazing. We’re doing our own thing this year, which is exciting.’
‘A Bob Haircut Is For Everyone — Regardless Of Body Size’
How long-time bob wearer Rebecca Jane Hill she shook off years of being taught the style was solely for slim bodies, to embrace the classic style.
The bob is undeniably the haircut of 2025 – everything from the 90s voluminous style beloved by Hailey Bieber and co to the graduated bob beloved by Lily Collins to Victoria Beckham, there’s potentially a style for everyone. It’s a classic style that requires relatively little maintenance, whilst managing to look both youthful and sophisticated. Tom Gear, senior stylist and colourist at salon Bebop, says of the style: ‘The bob embodies that perfect mix of timeless style and modern edge, which sits right in line with the 1990s/Y2K revival everyone’s loving at the moment. People are looking to icons like Zendaya, Hailey Bieber and Gigi Hadid who are all rocking their own takes on the bob.’
‘Embracing My Messy Natural Curls Has Given Me A Daily Lie-In’ – Here’s How To Quit The Straighteners
How Abigail Southan finally broke up with her straighteners after 15 years – and was thanked with healthier hair and a daily lie-in.
There aren’t many curly haired heroines out there in popular culture. Especially not in 2025 where overly facetuned features prevail and the only waves comes courtesy of a hot iron. And even those are manufactured – smooth, perfectly formed and evenly spaced throughout.
One of the most memorable curly haired girls in history has to be SJP’s Carrie Bradshaw. In season 2 of SATC, she famously likened her type 2C waves to that of a wild horse, while by comparison her love rival – Natasha with the swishy, straight hair and a Ralph Lauren twinset – was seen as more ‘tameable’.

Princess Charlotte Turns 10: How the Young Royal Is Stepping Into Her Own
As grounded as she may be, Charlotte is a princess — and is, of course, afforded some rare luxuries. She was given a pony when she turned 7, and Matta tells Us she ushered in her big day that year with a party at Kensington Palace. In 2023, Matta says Charlotte and her friends were treated to a ballet performance at the Royal Opera House. The young princess also has an enviable wardrobe, and her clothes often sell out soon after she wears them. “Her influence, known as the ‘Charlotte Effect,’ helps drive sales,” says Carpenter. “It’s estimated that Charlotte will be worth between a whopping 3 and 4 billion pounds to the U.K. economy over her lifetime — way more than even her brother George, who will one day be king.” However, while one might expect a princess to be either spoiled or soft-spoken and shy, Carpenter adds, “Charlotte is neither of the above.”
18 Movies About Divorce for a Cathartic Cry (or a Good Chuckle)
When it came out in 2019, Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story joined a long line of films that made divorce—or, at least, the fallout from falling out of love—their focus.
As divorce rates rose in the 1970s and 1980s, set off by the same shifting social mores that fueled Women’s Lib, Hollywood reacted in kind, trading simpering visions of American domesticity for lively portraits of familial distress. Yes, there’s a line to be drawn from Marriage Story to The Squid and the Whale (2005), which deals with Baumbach’s parents’ separation, but one can’t reasonably discuss divorce in the movies without mentioning either 1979’s Kramer vs. Kramer, with Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep, or Ingmar Bergman’s punishing Scenes from a Marriage (1973)—remade for HBO a few years ago.

This is not just a list of names—it’s a timeline of revolutionaries who turned pain into performance, and wit into power.
Inside the scandalous life of the world’s first ‘celebrity chef,’ Marie-Antoine Carême: as Carême is released, Tatler uncovers the truth behind the sizzlingly sexy series
The series about the chef to Prince Regent, the Emperor Napoleon and the Russian Tsar has been released on AppleTV+
Lovers of French patisserie and deliciously dark period dramas rejoice, for Carême is promising to be the series of the summer. The Apple TV series starring Benjamin Voisin will chart the impressive rise and era-defining fame of Marie-Antoine Carême, known as Antonin. The first cook (allegedly) to become rich and famous writing and publishing cookbooks, Carême made himself synonymous with the largesse of the First Empire as the chef de cuisine to the royal houses of Europe. He rose from humble beginnings to culinary stardom in a heady and volatile, post-French revolution Europe.
For those partial to a bit of War and Peace – or any sweeping European historical epic brimming with royalty, rolling vistas flecked with follies, and the softly pornographic image of a tousle-haired, free-spirited youth, (ahem – Leo in Titanic, Lady Chatterley’s’ Lover…the list goes on) – then cancel your bank holiday plans and settle in.

Scandinavians sure do know how to live well. Not only do Denmark, Norway, and Sweden often rank among the happiest nations on Earth, but they’re also the top spots for the best quality of life and are among the top 10 most powerful passports in the world.
In 2024, Global Citizen Solutions (GCS) released its Global Passport Index, which put Sweden in the top spot, Denmark in eighth, and Norway rounding out the top 10. But beyond this list, it also ranked nations on their quality of life—with all four again ranking among the top 10. In that list, Sweden took home No. 1, Denmark in fourth, and Norway in eighth. (Finland, a geographic neighbor to these countries but not technically in Scandinavia, came in at No. 3 in the GCS index and No. 2 for quality of life.)
