As always, we face the Bitchy Bloggers’ Dilemma when it comes to Angelina Jolie’s red carpet appearances. She’s an international movie star and her name generates enough interest that covering her is a no-brainer. On the other hand, she is the absolute queen of “resting on pretty” and has just about the least interesting red carpet style of any major movie actress. So if she’s not going to put much thought into her style choices, what are we supposed to say about them? “Here’s Angelina Jolie, looking pretty”? Might as well post “Here’s Angelina Jolie converting oxygen to carbon dioxide.”

Yes, very pretty. Boring and pretty. Although truth be told, we have no notes or edits here. Her makeup looks great and the drama of her looks plays well with the minimalism of the gown.

Ah, yes. Another of her faves: the sparkly skin dress. Again, very pretty, kind of boring, and as always, would look so much better on her in a contrasting color. The textural quality is nice but it comes off very stiff and heavy and it gives her a bit of a boob shelf.
