Tom Hardy took time out from his hobby of sending poor children to the workhouses in order to step out onto the red carpet at the premiere of his new film Havoc.

We’re always hard on him because he either shows up at these things dressed like a motorcycle mechanic or dressed like a surly Victorian. It all feels so incredibly poser and pretentious and it reminds us of when Jonathan Majors was showing up at events dressed like Frederick Douglass. You can just put on a suit, guys. You don’t have to do this whole cosplay thing and then stand there like you’re being tortured. Anyway, he looks fine. It’s a decent enough suit and we like the tie choice. There’s nothing wrong about dressing like this, of course, but sometimes we just want to tell all these anxiously masculine stars to just relax and have fun with it.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Walker (Tom Hardy) is a bruised detective fighting his way through the criminal underworld threatening to engulf his entire city. In the aftermath of a drug deal gone wrong, Walker finds himself with a number of factions on his tail; a vengeful crime syndicate, a crooked politician, as well as his fellow cops. When attempting to rescue the politician’s estranged son, whose involvement in the drug deal starts to unravel a deep web of corruption and conspiracy, he is forced to confront the demons of his past.
HAVOC is a high octane action thriller written and directed by Gareth Evans (The Raid, Gangs of London), and starring Tom Hardy, Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones with Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.
