In case you haven’t been following our two-month-long podcast discussion about the third season of The White Lotus (shame on you, how could you), it might interest you to know two things. The first is that we wouldn’t have thought the season would get such a sustained and rapturous response once it wrapped, but it’s all anyone wants to talk about at the moment and the cast is clearly all on a For Your Consideration tour. They all want an Emmy and a SAG Award on their shelves at home. We had more than our share of quibbles with it, but there’s no denying the show is still a big hit. It’s nice to have a watercooler moment again. The second thing you might want to know is that we couldn’t come to an agreement on the work Patrick Schwarzenegger was doing on the show. We both pretty much came together on that one in the end. He proved he wasn’t just playing some version of himself and his was one of the few arcs (minor as it was) that felt entirely earned. Anyway, to address all of those points, here he is taking a victory lap on The Tonight Show.
In the dullest suit he could find. Like his onscreen brother and fellow nepo baby Sam Nivola (not to mention Kit Connor), he inexplicably came to the proceedings in a job interview suit. It’s not horrible, but it does absolutely nothing for him.
