Fresh from being publicly slapped across the face (slight exaggeration for effect) by the Duchess of Sussex for getting her name wrong, Mindy Kaling shook off this devastating humiliation and hit the streets to promote her (as in, she is the producer) series Running Point in high style.

This is the short version of a dress Zoe Saldana wore to the SAG Awards earlier this month and we like this version much better. The ruffle has been moved over to the bare shoulder, balancing out the proportions to greater effect. Love the shoes.

It doesn’t even matter what she’s wearing underneath; that is a killer coat. She looks perfectly accessorized and styled as well. She’s always had a good red carpet game, but it feels like she’s been stepping it up lately.

It would seem her team is very good about pairing coats and dresses. This is a whole look; from the white bag to the red shoes, it’s all been very well thought-out and coordinated. Lip prints can be so cheesy, but this one is subtle and cute. It was smart to make most of the other pieces white, so as to avoid the Valentine’s card effect.
