The best thing about Jack Quaid is that he’s incapable of acting too chill for all of this. The star of Novocaine continued his Cute Suit Tour as he made the promo rounds in New York, grinning and goofing along the way.

This looks like the same suit he wore the other night at the tastemaker’s screening, but it’s worth a second look because he’s showing just how versatile a good brown suit can be. While we don’t love this shirt as much as the print ones he’s been sporting, we do love the brown penny loafers. It’s a cute look that still feels grownup. He’s being very smart about his own looks and persona. He’s not a kid, but he’s got a very boyish affect, so he’s doing a good job of threading that needle. Playfully masculine and grownup style.

While the khaki color isn’t bad, we don’t think it works all that well with white accents. Still, it’s a great suit. We’d have suggested another print shirt and a darker pair of kicks, but it’s working in that space between casual and semi-formal, which is where his style sweet spot resides. He should shave, though.
