The exceedingly weird, arms-length promo tour for Snow White continues as Disney tries to figure out how to sell a movie with two controversial stars who appear to no longer be speaking to each other. They sent their Evil Queen Gal Gadot out to pose with some kids and some mice and then they made her stand far away from her co-star at the world premiere. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the fashion choices were largely forgettable.

The point here was to sell a certain image but high-fashion clothing has nothing to do with that image. In this case, we would have suggested something a little more demure. Not that we’re scandalized by a strapless leather dress – and we do understand that it’s the right sort of vibe for an evil character — but it looks kind of goofy (no pun intended) in such Disney surroundings.

Yuck. It’s black lace with spaghetti straps. It would be virtually impossible for us to like it. In addition to those unliked elements, it also has a laundry bag of lace just hanging off her hips for no reason. That skirt is hideous and we hate the way it marries to the top. Also, that super-flat hair is not working for her.
