The Gay Golden Girls came out last night to celebrate. We want to support Mid-Century Modern stars Nathan Lee Graham, Nathan Lane and Matt Bomer in their new series, but we’re afraid everyone’s always going to call it Gay Golden Girls.
Anyway, line up for judgement, girls. You know how bitchy the gays can be.
This is the only interesting ensemble among the three of them, which should cause the other two eternal shame. We like it a lot, and it feels like we’re on some sort of matching kick lately, but we think that jacket would work better if it were in black. The skirt-over-pants situation works better than we would have thought, but we think the footwear is a bit of a letdown. Platform boots would have been our recommendation. This concludes the interesting gay portion of this post. We will now look a the white gays.
It’s fine. He was never going to show up in a Dolce & Gabbana blouse. We do, however, think there are far more interesting and photogenic suit choices available to him than this.
It’s a very nice suit and he looks hot. Personally, we never thought an unbuttoned shirt looked right with a buttoned, double-breasted jacket, but that’s getting into super nitpicky territory.
