Jamie Foxxx and Jurnee Smollett came to the premiere of the documentary Number One on the Call Sheet in some relatively low-key looks, as befits a documentary premiere.

This is fun and it feels a little bit like him getting his mojo back, possibly because it’s giving ’90s hip hop style. Can’t say we love those geometric boots, but we get that wearing kicks would have brought this to a cliche. The jacket is gorgeous.

We’re really in the era of flimsy skirts, aren’t we? It’s making us miss the days of Mad Men-inspired pencil skirts everywhere. Nothing wrong with a flowy frock, but this is pretty bland. We get that this isn’t necessarily the glitziest event, but this could really use a couple of gold pieces and a pretty pair of sandals to make it sing.
