We’ve been doing this gig long enough that watching the little girls we used to cover working the hottest grownup styles of the moment has become something of a routine occurrence for us. But we’ll always have a special place in our heart for the girl who got us to coin the “gay fashion uncles” term that has hounded us ever since (and who once addressed us that way in a message, to our delight): Kiernan Shipka – which is why we are in so much distress at the moment. Girl, we love you, but this:
This is just plain bad. Like, ” no redeeming qualities” bad. The design is basic and the end result looks cheap. There are so many better ways to work a hottie look than this. It’s just a shitty nightgown.
