Look, far be it for us to complain about yet another comedy about middle-aged people planning weddings when we live in a world full Star Wars and Spider-Men, but the trailer for You’re Cordially Invited starring Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon looks like someone conceived a film entirely by cutting and pasting other films together.
But that’s beside the point, of course. We’re here to rate their outfit choices for the London premiere.
We dub these looks “professional and boring.” Can’t really fault either of them for not doing the work. The outfits are well styled, suit them well, and look expensive. It’s just that they look less like movie stars on a red carpet and more like studio executives on a red carpet. Not the worst crime for either of them, but it’s a pretty dull pair of looks for a comedy premiere. We’ll take his shoes, however.
