For the last few months, we’ve found ourselves championing the style choices of Selena Gomez, which is not a position we’d ever thought we’d find ourselves in, to be quite honest. While we’d never have claimed she was some sort of fashion disaster, we tended to find her style choices to be a bit awkward, tacky and ill-considered. But with the critical acclaim afforded her by her work in Only Murders in the Building and Emilia Perez, she found herself at a new level in her acting career (said level commonly referred to as “the A-list”) and she wisely took the moment to mature her style approach and project a newfound sense of confidence and sophistication. She landed on our year-end favorites list, and we like to think that prompted her to step up her game even further for the Palm Springs International Film Awards. Shut up. We’re not delusional, you’re delusional. Anyway, here she is, working a classic ladysuit look:

We’d have liked some visual evidence that she is still in possession of her feet, but aside from that, this look is pretty much perfect. Love that the dress shirt is sheer and the suit is well-fitted to her. She looks great.
