Anne Hathaway headed to Shanghai to earn her coin as a Bulgari diamond model and she chose either the best or the worst dress in order to do so, depending on whether you like said dress. Let’s exercise our constitutional right and vote on the matter!

Either this is a perfect golden chalice of a dress, highlighting that big honkin’ necklace flawlessly, or it’s an overly stiff, gilded retro fussbomb that looks too heavy and distorting to be fabulous. Sure, maybe there are other options for opinions, but this isn’t an IN, OUT or A THIRD THING post, so you’ll have to make a choice. We tend to think gold metallic does not make a chic choice when you’re sporting that much real gold and gems. It can’t help but look chintzy to our eyes, but we also tend to think she looks pretty dazzling here. Let’s hear it:
