Emily in Paris star Lily Collins didn’t have to go so hard on her outfit choice for the opening night of The Devil Wears Prada in London, but given how little red carpet content there is right now, we’re very grateful that she did. But let’s be critical bitches about it anyway.
Unfortunately for us, babyheads aside, she looks so good that we’re going to have to resort to incredibly picayune critiques about things like shoe color and linings. What can we say? The girl simply doesn’t know how to half-ass her look. We do think the lining is a bit distracting, but that’s more to do with the fact that we’re so unused to seeing them. If it were in white or black, it would be much worse. Those rather plain beige sandals strike us as a pretty odd choice. If you’re going to go to all the trouble of wearing corseted sparkle, why pick such a dull pair of shoes to finish it off?
