Emilia Perez star Selena Gomez has very smartly taken the raised profile and professional consideration afforded her both by the film and her years on the critically acclaimed Only Murders in the Building to put forth a serious, grownup, prestige sort of image for the past year. We applaud and support these efforts. We always love seeing a star figure out (or hire someone who knows) how to use fashion to keep the momentum going. But when she’s not working the elegant and sophisticated styles of a leading thespian, it turns out she can still work the hell out of cutesy, Disneyfied pop princess looks.
