Nicole Kidman wrapped herself up like a Christmas present for the British GQ Men of the Year party. She opted to leave the bow untied, however.
The effect is somewhat minimized by the carpet and backdrop, but we like how dramatic this dress turned out to be. It looked pretty good from the front, although we don’t love the turtleneck. As for the back, the effect doesn’t work as well as it could (a bit too much in the way of pulling and wrinkling), but it still looks pretty great. We hate the undone ribbon, although we’d hate an actual tied bow even more. We’d normally be against matchy shoes, but the monochromatic effect is the whole point of this look. Same goes for jewelry. It would just distract.
