Charli XCX came to the Berlin International Film Festival to premiere her new …satirical documentary, we guess you’d call it, The Moment, in which she plays a pop star named Charli XCX. To mark the occasion, she dressed like a pop star and then like a movie star, which makes a certain amount of sense, don’t you find?

This is a little Wednesday Addams-coded and we feel like Jenna Ortega is pissed she didn’t get to it first. It’s dark and weird and a little sexy, which makes it pretty perfect for her. It’s photogenic as hell and you wouldn’t call it generic, so it gets the job done. As underwear dresses go, this is at least an interesting one. The fringe would drive us crazy. The shoes are disappointingly conventional.

Straight up, uncomplicated movie star, but with a darkly Charli sort of feel to it. The necklace is lovely, but we feel this dress calls for something bolder and darker on her neck. A pendant, of course.
