The Wild Robot and A Quiet Place: Day One star Lupita Nyong’o came to the 2024 Governors Awards to serve up incredible hair, which is a good thing, because she opted not to serve an incredible frock for the night.
Oof. No, ma’am. That looks like a cute mini-dress with a shower curtain over it. To be fair, as sheer dresses go, it’s at least a little more interesting than the super-tired bra-and-panties version, but we’ve always been big haters of the dress-over-another-dress style of dress. The shapelessness doesn’t work in her favor and the shoes, while cute, look awkward with that hem. In related news, we’re sorry to have to opine that her makeup is looking a little off to us. Still! Fabulous hair!
