The grossout queens of The Substance, Margaret Qualley and Demi Moore, went soft and simple for the Governors Awards.
They also each went in a slightly surprising style direction. Demi rarely wears strapless and short at the same time (and almost never sports the latter at all), while Margaret managed to snag herself a Chanel that doesn’t look like an awkward disaster on her. We don’t want to over-rely on body language interpretations, so we’ll just say that Demi is failing to sell this look like she loves it. It’s okay, although we dislike the shoes and we think she needs to choose either the earrings or the diamond collar. Margaret likes her looks on the nightgowny side, so this isn’t exactly a shocking turn for her, although it feels like it to us because this is the rare occasion where we actually think her dress is pretty. She could use some more aggressive styling with it, however.
