As the director and star of Woman of the Hour, Anna Kendrick has been making the promo rounds and we think directing must agree with her, because her style choices have noticeably improved. We’ve never loved her promo style because she always tends to go for very plain, totally forgettable styles. We won’t suggest that she’s suddenly wowing us with her spectacular choices, but for us, it’s notable that she wore three outfits in a row and we don’t have too many complaints about any of them.
But we’ll be nitpicky because that’s how we pay our bills. This is pretty great. We usually hate t-strap shoes, but this pair works really well with the cream suit. The jacket’s a bit bulky, there are too many buttons, and we’re not sure what’s peeking out from under it, but it’s not helping the look.
With the suede bag and boots, it would seem she’s a “match my bag to my shoes” girl. This is also a great look. The boots feel a little heavy with a sleeveless dress, but we suspect this had a jacket component and the weather wound up being unseasonably warm this week. Love the shades.
This is… okay. We’re not mad at it, but we really don’t like that shade of green. She’s getting her money’s worth out of those shoes.
