It’s hard to go wrong with a black sequin gown with a sweetheart neckline. All of this works pretty great. We don’t love the sheer panel, but it’s not a dealbreaker. We’d have liked a longer hem and a better fit in the bust, but those are the only issues and they’re minor. The pony tail is cute, but we’re not convinced it’s the best style for this dress. We think it needs a little volume up top.

This is SUCH an almost. It almost works. It’s almost really cute on her. We’d even go so far as to say it’s almost perfect except for the raw hem. The plaid looks great on her and we like seeing it utilized in an unexpected way. While the idea of a strapless romper with a massive peplum sounds terrible, with a little length on those shorts, and a decent cuffed hem, this could be really cute. Almost.
