We think we’re about to break a single-day posting record for a non-awards season week, and since that’s coming on the heels of weekend-posting, we’re gonna take ten minutes to ourselves and stare at a wall while we eat chips out of a bag. Since her eye-popping sexy disco ball look over the weekend generated a lot of opinions, we figure all y’all will have plenty to say about J Lo’s turn toward the demure. She’s sending a clear signal that she’ll be using her role in Unstoppable as a launch pad for the next phase in her career. In other words, your girl is planning on some heavy duty awards campaigning and we are positively THRILLED by the prospect. Anyway, here’s her attempt to soften the image a little after that explosive red carpet moment:

It’s…very beige. She tends to have two style modes: sparkle-sexy and extremely beige. We actually don’t mind the dress at all, although it’s way too ruffled. Our main issue is with the boots, largely because the color is ugly. A darker shade of brown would’ve been our rec. Anyway, going by the reaction to her last look, we’re pretty sure how the voting’s going to go on this one, but we’re throwing it out to you anyway. Let’s hear it.
