It’s so rare to get a Rihanna style sighting these days, so we feel inclined to give her the spotlight treatment any time she deigns to get up off her billions and make an appearance.
She’s very much in a well-earned phase where she doesn’t owe anyone anything and she’s been making her stance on that matter more than clear. Her style to us has felt half-assed for years, in a way that indicates that it’s just not a priority for her. The coat is a lot of fun, but the dress does nothing for it. She’s been wearing those ballet sandals (too tightly) for years. We feel like she could utilize exactly the same level of effort shown here and still look much better than this. If nothing else, switch the dress out for a black or dark brown one and just put on a pair of pumps.
