In the interests of true blogging transparency, we’ll tell you that we’re featuring these shots of Star Wars: The Acolyte star Amandla Stenberg walking into the studios of The View for two reasons. The first is so that we can announce that we haven’t forgotten about our podcast and we’ll have much to say about this and other shows bright and early tomorrow morning. The second reason is that she sported a $35 dollar dress for the occasion and we all must rally around this important issue and dissect it.

Actually, she looks great, but if we’re being honest, it’s in spite of the dress, not because of it. The style is fine and the fit is fantastic, but the print is garish as hell and that thick brown trim looks ugly. She’s working the hell out of it, but this is one fast fashion frock that should’ve stayed on the hanger, we think.
