Evidently, it’s LBD Week on the late night talk shows. Scarlett Johansson wore a semi-cute take on the classic style on The Tonight Show, while at the same time on the other coast, Space Cadet star Emma Roberts sauntered into the Jimmy Kimmel studios sporting her own (admittedly much cuter) version.
Even after all this time, we remain fascinated by stylists and footwear choices. They all go for the exact same style at the same time and then flood it until we’re all sick of looking at. We’ve worked our way through the clodhopper platforms, the hoof shoes, the Nudist sandal and now we’re stuck in a period where everyone’s wearing ’80s Lady Lawyer shoes everywhere. This is like the fifth pair of black pumps we’ve seen this week. Not that they’re wrong in this case. They may not be the most interesting choice in the world, but they do actually go very well with the LBD. The dress is really cute on her and she’s well styled. The shades are hot and the bag is really nice.
