Okay, kittens. Let’s do this. We remain devoted to our commitment to keep this place free of politics most of the time, but historic events are happening and Kamala Harris’s sudden candidacy has intersected with the worlds of celebrity and fashion in ways that give us a bit of an opening to talk about her specifically, what we expect from certain celebrities in response to her candidacy (including a couple of seismically popular, culture-shifting divas who need to step up), and why it’s wrongheaded to devote much time or interest to her style choices. Having said that, we offer her one bit of style advice that is likely to piss some of her supporters off.
BUT! That’s really only the first portion of the pod and you can skip it rather easily. We also have a lot to say about Netflix’s series The Decameron, and HBO’s documentary Faye: The Many Lives of Faye Dunaway. And of course we have MUCH to say about the latest House of the Dragon and why we think the show is losing viewers.
