Of course we have to give Harry and Megs some spotlight time, but they weren’t the only stars to judge at the ESPYs. Get your judgin’ pants on and let’s wrap this up.
Colman Domingo in Louis Vuitton
We can’t say we’re loving the greige suit, but the coat is a stunner.
Daisy Ridley in Elie Saab
Simple, elegant, flattering, inarguable.
GloRilla
Not to haul out the cliches so early, but it is what it is. This is the ESPYs and she’s GloRilla and we would sound damn silly complaining that she didn’t accessorize to our liking or whatever.
Halle Bailey in Raisa Vanessa
This is really cute. It seems everyone defaults to gowns for these events, but there’s nothing wrong with a sassy little cocktail frock.
Mickey Guyton in Rebecca Vallance
It’s just okay. The skirt has all of the visual interest. We wish there were more silver at play in the top half.
Quinta Brunson in Silvia Tcherassi
It’s riding up a little bit, which would indicate a fit issue of some sort, but this is really gorgeous on her.
Rob Lowe
You look fine, but that is way too much velvet for July, Rob.
Ryan Guzman
Hate the white loafers, but the rest of the look is pretty nice.
Serena Williams in Armani Privé
It’s giving modern Marilyn. We love the silver at the hem but we’re not loving the way it’s used in the bust. That faux “my dress is slipping off” look never appealed to us.
Venus Williams
Can’t argue with a classic look, although the styling could use a little more work. Some sparkle and an up do would do a lot.
