A whole slew of ladystars came out in LA to celebrate Michael Kors’ new Rodeo Drive store with dinner at Canters by Spago. Far be it for us to judge what people wear to a dinner party, but let’s face it, this was all one big branding exercise, so let’s just get to it, shall we?
Alexandra Shipp
It’s a semi-cute dress, but we don’t love the backpack straps or the wide neckline.
Gabrielle Union-Wade
Pretty and chic. We’re surprised to admit that we love the t-shirt with it.
Kaitlyn Dever
Enh. The design just isn’t doing it for us and it looks kind of drab in this setting, with this styling.
Kerry Washington
That’s a lot of work to keep her bits covered. The sweater’s nice and the dress would be fine if it were lined, but we hate the way it’s styled.

Classic and perfect. She looks great in this and it’s not what we’d call the most photogenic look in the world.

Can’t argue with any of that. This is why we always say every ladystar who isn’t necessarily chasing trends or trying to go viral with her fashion should put at least a couple of Kors pieces in their promo wardrobe rotation.

It’s giving Hot Queer Girl and it suits her incredibly well.

Great shape, terrible color story for her.
Shailene Woodley
Pretty much perfect, although we think the belt is both too long and too thin.
Zoey Deutch
She’s got that Kors Smirk – that little smile that says she knows she looks great in this and she didn’t even have to try that hard. Love the hair.
