Yes, yes. Of course this isn’t a fashion-related event. Of course the pomp and pageantry are to honor the dead and the living. Even so, we’re shallow sorts around here so the only thing that really concerns us regarding the UK’s observation of the anniversary of D-Day is what Queen Helen of Fuckinfantastica wore for the occasion.
We observe that it is good. A very pretty dress that straddles the line between pretty pageantry and solemn occasion. After all, what better way is there to commemorate something than with flowers? Love the print. Not in love with the styling choices but we’ll leave it there.
