The stylish cast of the even more stylish Ripley came out for the series premiere, serving looks in a classic mode. That means no one tried too hard and no one looked too trendy.

Almost like a wedding, really. Everyone looks nice, no one looks like they’re trying to steal focus. Respectful and respectable fashion.

Impeccable and classic. A tux is a bit much for a Netflix premiere, but we would expect no less from a chic Italian actor. LOVE the slippers and socks.

Once again, he chose a slightly interesting suit that’s kind of all wrong for him. The color is not friendly to him at all, the lapels overwhelm him, he doesn’t look as great in a white tank top as he seems to think (he wears them a lot), and the cut of the pants is giving him doll feet. We appreciate that he doesn’t dress like a lawyer for the red carpet, but he also doesn’t seem to have any idea of what looks good on him. Thom Browne is the way to go, mister.

We don’t love seeing her in floaty whites because we don’t think they do much for her, but this is a gorgeous gown. We can’t get mad at it. The super-flat hair isn’t helping the look, though.

It’s a pretty boring suit. The shirt looks sloppy and the shoes look comically oversized. Nevertheless, they’ve got charisma to spare (Sting and Trudy are dad and mom), so this is all working a lot better than it should. Gorgeous watch. Catch Ripley if you can, because we’re going to be talking all about this bad gay in tomorrow’s podcast.
