We burst out laughing – not because it looks bad. She looks great, in fact. But we wonder if she didn’t realize that most of the other attendees would be dressed much more sedately. Whatever. Grab that attention, girl.
Katy Perry (in Coperni) and Orlando Bloom
Elegantly understated. They still make a fine-looking couple.
Kim Kardashian in Alaïa
She’s wet for science.
Lizzo in Quine Li
You are just going to have to let us have that previous caption. It was sitting right there, staring us in the face. Anyway, hair aside, Kim looks great. Lizzo also looks great, in a dress that sends a pretty clear keeping-my-distance message, which seems pretty on point for her at the moment. Don’t love the hair at all.
Margot Robbie in Rick Owens
She’s earned the right to wear sedate, boring fashion for one or two events. The cuffs are a nice touch.
Michelle Yeoh in Tom Ford
Keeping it simple and classic. The silver accessories are nice, but the bag looks a little chintzy.
Olivia Wilde in Galvan London
She’s showing her ass for science. It’s a pretty hot design, and that’s coming from two queens who hate cutouts, bows, and trailing sashes. It does feel a bit showy for this event, though.
Susan Downey and Robert Downey Jr.
Every time he steps out and he’s not wearing those horrible oversized sneakers is a win in our book. It’s a nice suit. The unbuttoned vest looks sloppy. She looks fine. Those sheer, ruched cutouts aren’t the most flattering design element, but she’s pulling them off.
Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys (in Ralph Lauren)
Can’t argue with any of that.
Venus Williams in Prada
Or that. While we think Barbie Pink should be retired from most red carpets for at least a year or two, this shade looks great on her.
Zoe Saldana in Givenchy
It’s okay, but we hate the hem length and would’ve liked a necklace or pendant.
