It’s one of those things where you’d have to be an entertainment journalist or fashion blogger to understand, but when awards season is all over, we feel like a teacher who has to go back into the classroom after a graduation to clean it out for summer. We get all sentimental about the people we’ve covered relentlessly all year; especially those people who were new to the awards track spotlight. We know we’re going to cover Lily Gladstone on the red carpet again, but we don’t know when we’ll get the chance to cover Lily Gladstone, Oscar nominee and curator of Indigenous designers again.
As with her main event gown, this one represents a collaboration between Gucci and Indigenous quillwork artisan Joe Big Mountain. It’s gorgeous and we think we might like it more than her earlier look. We look forward to covering her more in the future. And girl? You should definitely keep that Bulgari necklace.
