Guess what brand The New Look stars Maisie Williams, Juliette Binoche and Glenn Close all wore to the series premiere in New York!
Go on! Guess! We don’t care what the boys are wearing. Not when the ladies are serving.
Maisie Williams in Vintage Dior by John Galliano
In our best Chandler Bing voices: Could she be any more Dior? Is it even possible to be more Dior than she’s being right now? Is she not the dictionary illustration for the term “French Girl”? As we keep having to say lately, we’ll never mind theme dressing if it’s combined with high fashion design. Sure, this is almost too on-point, but you won’t catch us complaining that someone chose vintage Galliano for their TV show premiere.
Ben Mendelsohn
This is all very fine and he looks chic, but the pants could’ve used a hemming.
Juliette Binoche in Dior
Also so incredibly French and on point that we almost might call it a costume, but she actually is French and we’d be fools to bitch about someone wearing Dior to their Dior series premiere. Personally, she might have taken some advice from the woman she’s portraying in the series (Coco Chanel) and removed one item. The hat, gloves and boots are all overwhelming the dress design.
John Malkovich
Perfectly fine.
Glenn Close in Dior
The ladies all clearly coordinated; not just in the brand, but the color story and the accessories as well. You won’t get Glenn in a hat, though. We don’t blame her. That frosty mane is worth showing off. This could read so dowdy, but the tailoring is sharp and the gloves lend it an edge.
