The stars of Dune: Part Two (and director Denis Villeneuve) came out for the Seoul premiere serving up some of the most conventional looks of the tour. We figure they were doing it for Austin.
Zendaya in Vintage Givenchy
This is sharp and interesting. What some folks are failing to get about her promo wardrobe is that it’s not cosplay nor is it really referencing the film. Instead, she and Law Roach are paying tribute to a long line of science fiction-inspired fashion. It’s theme-dressing, and it’s really well done.
Timothée Chalamet in Gucci
It’s fine, but it’s honestly the dullest thing he’s worn in at least a year.
Austin Butler in Celine
Another very nice suit. To be fair, a typical Seoul premiere is going to have the stars interacting with the crowd on a much more direct level, which means grandiose looks wouldn’t work in this setting.
