Line up for judgment, BAFTA boys!
Andrew Scott in Berlutti
Pin
You had us until we got to the shoes, which look like something Ronald McDonald wears to the club.
Archie Madekwe in Loewe
Pin
Those loose cuffs and highwater hems are making our eyelids twitch.
Barry Keoghan in Burberry
Pin
We love every single thing about this except maybe the pleated pants.
Bradley Cooper in Louis Vuitton
Pin
He’s a sea captain! Arr!
Callum Turner in Burberry
Pin
You’re too good-looking to be dressing like a member of the royal family, son.
Cillian Murphy in Zegna
Pin
It’s very chic in that oh-so cultivated “I don’t give a shit” manner that he prefers.
Colman Domingo in Boss
Pin
Fucking fabulous.
David Tennant in Joshua Kane
Pin
The man is a beanpole, so if his custom suit is this tight on him, we have to assume he wanted it that way. Still, it’s too tight. Gorgeous textile, though. Also, the bronzer isn’t well blended.
Dominic Sessa in Saint Laurent
Pin
We might have wanted to zhuzh that shirt collar and recommend a different shoe, but he looks amazing.
Himesh Patel in Paul Smith
Pin
This is gorgeous and the grooming is perfection, but the jacket’s a bit too small.
Josh Hartnett in Berlutti
Pin
The tux is great, but we’re going to be bluntly honest: he’s too old for that hairstyle.
Kingsley Ben-Adir in Gucci
Pin
Enough with the white socks.
Paul Giamatti in Dolce & Gabbana
Pin
WELL DONE, SIR. This is the best he’s ever looked on a red carpet. Look at that fit. Look at that shine. Perfection. You do not have to have leading man looks or an adventure star’s body to look amazing in a tux on a red carpet.
Paul Mescal in Gucci
Pin
This is stunning. We realize that his style of grooming is part of his entire appeal, but it looks off with such a crisp and sharp suit.
Rami Malek in Zegna
Pin
Honestly, the presentation’s a little sloppy, but the look is kind of spectacular. We might have liked a bit more shine on those shoes, but we so appreciate that someone finally remembered that wide-legged pants call for a substantial footwear choice. No doll feet here.
Ryan Gosling in Gucci
Pin
Enh. He’s cute and we enjoy unconventional suits, but this looks way too “fancy gas station attendant” to us. He just needs the patch and the little hat.
Robert Downey Jr. (in Stella McCartney) and Susan Downey
Pin
LOOK AT THOSE LOVELY HEELED BOOTS. LOOK AT THAT PERFECT PANTS HEM. Someone listened to all of our bitching. You’re welcome, Robert. Thank us in your Oscar speech. Oh, and lay off the hair dye a little.
