Okay, the podcast is recorded and we’re about to tear through a veritable onslaught of awards season looks before we close out the workday, so we’re afraid it’s up to you to make the final call on Sustainability Queen Cate’s fairly interesting LV look at the BAFTAs.

PinEvidently the textiles were already in the archives and the interesting jewelry piece “featuring white gold, colorful stones, and and lustrous pearls” was assembled from five existing pieces in the archive. We tend to think her claims of sustainability are sometimes overstated (and we also think it’s a bit of a gimmick), but we’ll give her credit for being consistent about her stance for some time now. Anyway, the shoulders look a little like the interior of a car, but we mostly like this. Don’t let that influence you, however. Be the bitches we know you can be.
