Awards season is on a brief hiatus, which means it’s time for the Sundance Film Festival to kick itself off. We love covering Sundance because we get to look at way more cute coats, hats and boots than we usually see in our red carpet coverage. It’s good to shake things up! Let’s talk all things knitwear, corduroy and tweed, yes? Starting the conversation is the cast of Freaky Tales, who stomped onto the red carpet for the film’s screening.
Dominique Thorne (in Miu Miu) and Normani (in Area)
You have to figure Normani wasn’t going to show up at her first movie’s premiere covered in head to toe. We also figure they both must have either dashed ten feet to the front door of the venue from the limo or put on their shoes when they got inside. Logistics questions aside, they both look really cute. Dominique is keeping it relatively low key, but that’s a really nice jacket. Normani looks fantastic and that outfit takes a great picture. The randomly placed crystal/metal embellishments kind of detract from it. The shoes are adorable.
Pedro Pascal in Airei
He looks very comfy. He also looks a little bit like a mattress. The jacket and pants are fun, but we don’t like the shirt at all.
Jay Ellis and Pedro Pascal
Everything he’s got going on is fine except the undershirt.
