Killers of the Flower Moon star Lily Gladstone wore a pair of  handmade beaded earrings by Soch Beadwork, made and owned by a Cheyenne woman. They’re really cute. We point this out because Lily hasn’t had as much opportunity to showcase indigenous fashion and accessories as she may have liked, given the SAG-AFTRA strike, and we think she’s probably likely to stick with big name fashion brands to provide her gowns during awards season, since there are far fewer options for formal awards show gowns designed and made by indigenous people. What we’re trying to say here?

The gown is a pretty afterthought. In other words, we suspect she chose the gown to go with the earrings instead of the other way around, and we suspect we’re going to see more of that from her going forward. The color is gorgeous on her. We’re not feeling the peplum all that much and it’s kind of a shame that it’s tight across the top, but she looks great.
