Golden Globes 2024: Taylor Swift in Gucci

Rare is the occasion that we’re grateful to Taylor Swift for showing up on a red carpet. There’s no shade in that statement. She’s pretty reliable in her red carpet style, but she’s not the type of person who will get us to flap our hands in excitement on catching sight of her, the way a Cate or Lupita might. Even so, we found the image of her in a bright green Gucci gown to be something of a relief to see, since the majority of the other Golden Globes attendees seemed to opt for black or white.

Maybe she got some intel ahead of time and planned accordingly. Maybe she’s sending yet another of her secret messages to her fandom. We neither know nor care. We just think she looks great and we’re happy to see some bold color on this red carpet. Love the earrings.
