We gave her co-star Rachel Zegler a Style File post yesterday, so it’s only fair that The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes star Hunter Schafer gets a little style shoutout from us, especially since she has not been failing to serve up interesting, discussable looks throughout this tour.
AT GOOD MORNING AMERICA IN ISSEY MIYAKE
It has a real ’80s throwback feel without being literal about it. The color and pattern look great on her. It’s photogenic and fun. We love the dress. We hate the white pumps. Also, we think she wears the tight hair a little too often and sports a “clean” face at time when more colorful makeup would add a lot to a certain look. She looks very pretty, but we think the styling could be stronger.
AT THE NEW YORK PREMIERE IN MARNI
We’re still not in love with the hair and we still hate the shoes, but the makeup is just right for this look. The dress is a lot, but it’s cute and fun and it’s got that Effie Trinket feel that makes it right for this promo tour.
