Sometimes, a simple, cute frock – in this case, the ultimate LBD – is reason enough to give someone the spotlight treatment. Emma Watson doesn’t seem to act much anymore and we think her red carpet style has been questionable for years, but this is honestly perfect:
The subtle gold trim really makes the look. The accessories are perfectly chosen. We are very tired of seeing ladies default to the black pump on red carpets, but we can’t deny that there’s no other pump color that work as well. The “pop of color” shoe is well out of style at this point (don’t worry; trends are like busses, it’ll be back to pick you up on the next round) and we think a gold pump or sandal would’ve given this too much of a nighttime feel. Black sandals would’ve worked too, but the pumps seem to give the look a more grownup, sophisticated feel. We could get huffy about the Prada logo, but this is a Prada show, after all.
